Want to get your groove on for a good cause? Simply Equal Education's Dancing for Desks is a way for schools and groups to help buy desks for schools in Equatorial Guinea. We are supporting new schools that are being built in rural Equatorial Guinea, but they have no desks for the students or teachers! Research has demonstrated that adequate teaching infrastructure, including furniture, can positively impact the participation of children in school- help us make a difference by hosting or participating in a dance-a-thon! Sign up to be a Dancer!
We encourage everyone to participate in the Dance-a-Thon. All Dancers will be asked to raise money (or donate) upon day of the Dance-a-Thon. Keep in mind that the more money you raise, the better your chances of winning great prizes. Dance, cheer, eat, listen to music and have FUN and know that while having fun,you are helping to raise money to provide desks for kids in Equatorial Guinea. Teams for the Dance-a-thon can be made of up to five people! |
Come to the Event and SUPPORT THE DANCERS
If you have any friends who are dancing at the event, or if you just want to come and support the dancers and have FUN, come to the Dance-a-Thon!! Help Us Raise Money in Other Ways If you would like to help us raise money in any way, we would really appreciate your help. Just submit the attached Pledge Form with your donation. RECRUIT YOUR FRIENDS!! Do you have friends with a lot of spirit? People who can help keep you excited and energized for hours?! Invite them to join you! |
How to Register
If your school or organization is handling applications and pledges on site, please contact them and follow their directions. If your school or organization would like to use online registration, you can download the application and pledge sheets below. If your school or organization wishes to use on-site registration, please feel free to use our forms as a template! Groups who are using on-site registrations should email us the attendee and donor information.
